Ok great, because I do actually kinda like the weight training and I DID NOT know about the starred entries. Am going to look closer at those now for sure! I guess you are right I did get used to some serious progress and although I'm super happy of where I am now, I'm bummed that nothing was moving. I'm getting in a hurry trying to get where I want to be so i can go out this summer in a bathing suit and not feel embarrassed. But I will certainly work harder and more diligently. Thanks again for all of your advice. You guys put me on track and in a better place. :)

You can go out in a bathing suit this summer and not feel embarrassed regardless of what the number on the scale says. Girl, you lost 60 pounds since last year! That's amazing! Own that success! Go out there in the sexiest bathing suit you can find, and flaunt it!

I totally understand how you could be feeling like you just want to achieve that goal already. But believe me, slow is good. Slow is great. Slow means toned, less loose skin, less lean muscle being lost, fewer hunger pangs, and best of all, a proven higher chance of keeping the weight off for good. Embrace the slow. Slow is awesome.

Although you have gotten conflicting views, I hope you leave with a sense that something can be done. This concensus is probably the one truth. 2 months with no weight loss does not equate to slow weight loss. Also I am sure you are not off by 1000 calories daily on your calorie counting unless you are eating tons of hidden fat or something. I think you have hit a plateau because your calories are low. I still say change things up for a few days so that your body does not think you are starving. Anyway, I'm done. Be encouraged!

That made me sad... apparently I'm 60% body fat. D:

Unlikely. More likely, the calculator is totally inaccurate.

    Which, yep, it is.

    This.
  • Wow there's so many people that have no idea about diet and nutrition. Have a read about iifym then you'll realize it's about your macro nutrients (fats carbs protein fibre) 1200 calories is way to low if your height and weight ratio is correct. Your body is just absorbing everything your eating which is why you aren't loosing weight. On a day where you do nothing your body is burn about 1500-2000 cal and if you say your burning 300 cal at the gym then your only consuming 900 cal a day is therefore your body is starving. Realistically a healthy amount of calories is around 1800-2200 cal daily if you hit that your body will love you and you will easily loose weight...
Anywho please read about iifym you will understand- hopefully this helps
