What activity level to set my goals at?

Up until about a month ago I worked as a waitress. It was nice and easy to figure out my activity level since MFP uses that as an example. But then I got a new job and now I'm totally lost for how to adjust it.

See my schedule is super weird:

M-T my 9-5 job is entirely desk based. According to my pedometer I'm lucky to log 2500 steps the whole day.

W - been hitting about 4500 steps. Desk job in the morning, outdoor work in afternoon

Th-F - anywhere between 6000-10,000 step no problem. Work outdoors all day.

Sat-Sun - anywhere from 4500-10000, depends on what I'm doing that weekend.

With that much variation in my week I have no idea what to set the activity level to. I just started using Pacer which is only confusing me more. Does that adjustment double count my calories if I have MFP already set to lightly active or active? I just don't know.

My goal is .5 lb a week.

You should set it to sedentary. Better to shoot low and exceed expectations than to overestimate and be sad.
