Have you ever bought a product b/c of the ads on MSP?

Has anyone clicked on an ad on MFP thinking "I might need that in my life" and then followed through and purchased it- either in a store or via the website? I have -bought a fitbit one from fitbit's site and bought the loreal evercurl cream this weekend- and I love them both! I actually got compliments on my curls today. Someone said, "Your curls are so pretty today, did you cut your hair, is that why they seem more defined?" And I was like "no, new gel! And it's not crunchy!!!" I've spent years trying to find something that defines curls and fights frizz that doesn't make my hair crunchy or greasy. Need to give it more than a day to say for sure.

Anyway, I think I'm like super susceptible to advertising- which is messed up b/c I kinda resent that "know me" manipulative marketing, but I guess if it's connecting me to products I like I shouldn't be so bitter lol.
