Hi everybody. I've been on here for about 3 weeks and have lost about 5 pounds, this does seem to work, but in the last week or so i lost nothing, I have it set for 2 pounds a week, to give myself a little room for error lol, but I'm trying to stay tough.

with only 30 pounds to loose you might want to reset your goal to 1 pound.
If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal0 -
Weight loss isn't linear
Good start for you - focus hard on logging as accurately as you can - weighing all your food and picking the right database entries
make sure your goal loss is appropriate to your weight to lose as above0
