Ive been using the app for about 5 days already and I see my sodium and cholesterol are really high. Any advice on reducing this?

Eat less prepackaged foods or meals out. But if you don't have a reason to watch your sodium, you don't have to track it.0

I've always been told that to much sodium is bad that's why I'm freaking out when I saw what I was consuming in a day. I'm going to have to start cooking at home like you suggest! Thanks for the advice!0

It can be shocking when you start logging here and you see how much sodium there is in fast food, restaurant food, and things like canned soups and pre-packaged meals, eh?
There's no reason to panic about it unless you have a medical restriction. But sure, getting sodium intake down to a more reasonable level has a lot of health benefits.
You don't have to quit restaurant meals cold turkey. But try to stagger them with more meals from scratch, so that you're not subsisting on fast food. You'll notice a big difference in how you feel, and you'll probably also see a lot of water weight come off quickly.0 -
