When to see results

I do not look like my weight in the least, my family is full of football players and athletics that I am a big boned female.
I don't look like I am 265, actually I don't look a pound over 200. I don't have any fat rolls, and everything is proportional.
I went to the doctors today and within 2 and a half weeks I've lost 10 pounds.
My clothing doesn't fit looser, I notice no change in my belly or arms or anything.
I know I am expecting results over night, but I want to know when is an appropriate time to see results?

Odds are that 10 pounds was mostly water weight Typically, the more you weigh to start with, the more you'll have to lose before you notice a difference.
The important thing is to stick with it, even if you're not noticing your clothes fitting looser or your body getting smaller. And if your weight loss is gradual, it'll be tough for you to notice since you see yourself every day. Someone else who may not see you frequently would be more likely to notice a difference in your size.0 -
It's so frustrating, I've lost a stone and I don't look any different. My clothes aren't feeling any looser either! I carry all my weight on my belly being Apple shaped and so maybe I'm also expecting too much too soon!0

I've been told that for our weight range, you typically start to "see" it after 20 lbs. I've lost 16 and can barely tell other than my clothes fitting more comfortably.0

Results are sneaky little things. They show up in many different ways. Sometimes it's the scale, sometimes measurements or how clothes fit, sometimes it's looking in the mirror, sometimes it's a fitness goal, sometimes (at least in my case) I have to take photos and compare them side by side to see any changes. Sometimes you need to look for them with a frickin' magnifying glass.0

I started at 212 and didn't really see much change until I had lost almost 20lbs. I'm now closing in on 30lbs and am just getting into a smaller size. Be patient. It will happen, but on its own time.

I have been at this for 5 weeks now, eating an average 200 deficit to what MFP tells me I need to lose 2lbs a week, I should be 10+ lbs down by now but only showing 4 or 5 on the scale, but I do notice my moobs have shrunk and my stomach is less bloated, so lets just stick at it and hopefully you will notice a difference soon, just remember by at least eating better you are doing good that way if nothing else.0

What results were you expecting to see? You have no rolls to disappear, you have nothing out of proportion to get into proportion, and you claim to look 65 pounds lighter than you are .. so what are you thinking you're gonna see, exactly?
I'm not gettin' it.
According to your self described appearance, there's nothing to see change, right?0 -
10 pounds is mostly the initial water weight. Keep it up and after a few months, you'll start noticing. It takes more that two weeks, be patient.0
