I need some help from people in the know about what calories i should be aiming for as well as protein, fats and carbs. My stats - I am 170cm tall (5 ft 7"), 35 and weight 90kgs (198 pounds). I had my BF% done in a 'bod pod' and was advised my BF% is a whopping 43.1% with a fat free mass of 56.9%. Based on Low activity i was advised to eat between 1500-1600 calories (Est TDEE of 2268). I went for 30% off so 1588 calories per day. The lady advised to eat 40% protein, 40% carbs and 20% fat. When i used the getting started advice on MFP i worked it out to 30% protein, 40% fat and 30% carbs - but that seems like way too much fat. What did i do wrong??
Do you think my calorie intake is at least right??

30% off is...crazy. Every TDEE calculator I've seen has said that even 25% is really aggressive. I would cut it back to 20%. That will be more sustainable. You can change your MFP percentages manually, if you think 40% fat is too much. I'm at 40% protein, 30% fat and 30% carbs.

You are gonna be .. hungry!

    HUNGRY.

You sure you don't want to pull that 30% off TDEE back a bit? Just a little bit?

It's just that I read in the getting started guide that if your bf% was higher than 30% than to go higher than the 20% and thought I read to go to 30% cut.

I have similar stats (5'9", 215, BF48%). I used http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ to help calculate my macros. Mine are currently set in MFP for 45%Carb/30%Fat/25%Protein and 1710 calories per day. I rarely eat back any exercise calories and I'm losing 1.2 lbs per week.
