6000+ calories a day?!

So, I work outside doing grounds maintenance. It is physically demanding and is likely the reason I weigh 194 and not 394.
I enter this into MFP as 'mowing, general'. Now, In addition to the 2660 cal/day I'm supposed to eat, I am to make up the +4000 cal from work. This is an incredible amount of food for me. Hell , I don't even have time to prepare that much food!

Is this accurate? Am I missing something?

MFP over estimates calories burned by a lot.

you don't count work calories. Adjust your activity level.

And that figure includes BMR, and is inflated anyway on top of that.

Thanks for the tip. My activity level is already set to high, but I cut out the exercise.

Im curious how tall you are. My husband is 6'4 - active job and very active at home (athletic) he is eating almost 5000 calories a day, but that is to gain...as he is only 185.

If it's included in your activity level DO NOT log it. You'd be counting your calorie burned twice and eating back over twice what you burned.
