Connecting Fitbit with MFP

how do you know if your Fitbit is connected to MFP? I think I connected it, followed the directions and it says it's connected, but I can't see my steps on MFP. When I click on steps on MFP it says it's counting through my iPhone. Just a little confused!

    on the iphone app:
    - More
    - Steps
    you should now see a list:
    • Fitbit
    • iPhone
    • Add a device
    • Don't track Steps
    click on fitbit or add a device if Fitbit isn't listed.
