On Jan. 1, 2015, just out of curiosity, I googled "how many calories per day to lose weight". For 2 weeks, I maintained calorie goals, but was logging on paper. My gym friend said, "you've got to get a phone app". That's when I found MFP. For the first time, I have hope of losing 100 lb. with goal weight at 150-155. Reading success stories here has been so inspirational that I wanted to say "Thanks a million" for posting your stories from 8 lb losses to 200+lbs down. You've made me believe I can do this!! Down 11 lb. so far this year.
