Good Morning Peeps

Has anyone else noticed that if they have low carbs during the day their sleep that evening is unsettled and of poor quality?

I am interested in other people's experiences.

Take Care

Yes. Not with sugar, but with carbs.

To stay within my 1300 calorie limit, I usually have to cut carbs a lot and also go to bed hungry. Usually my sleep won't be great, and i'll wake up throughout the night. Of course if I've had wine, it's worse.
For some time I resorted to Nytol to make me sleepy, and make sure I go to bed rather than sit up late. But I know it isn't healthy in the long run.

Definitely I find this! I went to the gym last night and had a bowl of pasta before bed (still within my calorie limits). I slept like a baby!

If you go to bed hungry you will not get a good sleep no matter what, since your body is crying for food.

I find the opposite when i go over in carbs, i cant sleep cause im still 'hyper' from the amount of carbs.

For me lower carbs = better sleep
