Hi
Quick question, I haven't done any exercise for a long time so am just getting into it. Should you eat the calories earned from exercise? Won't this slow your weight loss?
Thanks guys

The answer is "it depends." There are reasons why people eat back their calories (for example, when the primary goal is to build muscle) and people who don't (for example, when the primary goal is to lose bodyfat). So if "weight loss" is your primary goal, then not eating back your calories is a strategy.
But there are other factors too, such as the type of exercise they are doing, their current diet (caloric budget and macronutrient ratios), existing health issues, etc.. You may want to eat all, some, or none, based on how you are burning calories (and more importantly, bodyfat).
If you want to provide us with more information on your current fitness program (such as your schedule, type and duration of your workouts), you might be able to find people who are in (or have been in) a similar position - and have adopted a particular strategy that worked for them, and can give you helpful feedback?
Good luck to you!0
