Hot chocolate!

i rarely drink hot chocolate but I've recently discovered Options Belgium hot chocolate, it's only 40cal but I'm just wondering whether it's an okay drink to drink or is it actually really unhealthy?

Only if it's got real Belgians in it. Cannibalism is generally frowned upon.

ETA: I'm going to assume it's the aspartame that you are worried about. It's safe.

I love options hot chocolates! I have one a night before bed. There's loads of amazing flavours all between 39 - 44 calories per cup. My faves are the white hot choc, chocca late and strawberry. Mint and orange are quite nice too though

I drink it 2-3 times a week ... I like the potassium, but the sodium is a bit high in it.

Tend to alternate it with a protein bar for afternoon snack at work ( bar on workout days, drink on off ). Both have dark chocolate, not sure how much of the health benefit transfers over in this format.

I had hot chocolate with 1% milk and some cocoa mix I had in the cupboard last night, and it was wonderful. As long as it fits into your calorie plan, it's fine. You don't have to deprive yourself of everything that tastes good or split foods into good/bad categories.
