once you have hit your macros...

every day I have no problem hitting my protein and fat goals (which were calculated according to my personal stats) - 108 g protein, and 49 g fat, however i am always under on carbs which make up the rest - concerning the exercise i do each day.
since my goal is to maintain weight (and hopefully lose fat), should i go over on my protein and fat to make up for the carbs? if not does anyone have any food items which have mostly carbs and no fat or protein?
thankyou for any responces :)

Once you've hit your minimum, fill the rest of your calories with whatever you like - carbs, fat or protein. It really doesn't matter in any other way than preference.

As for carb sources, I find frozen bananas and honey are delicious. Or baked sweet potatoes with honey and cinnamon.
  • yummm thanks! great ideas there!
so there is no max. for fat as long as you have hit your protein goals and you are within your calorie goals?

I don't really care about coming under on carbs - only care about going over!

Your protein and fat goals are both minimums. No worries in going over. Give yourself a daily treat if you like. Ice cream is a good one.
