The FOK Diet Support Group

Happy Valentines Day everyone!
I just started a new group on MFP for those interested in eating and maintaining a plant-based whole foods diet often referred to as the FOK diet inspired by the film Forks Over Knives.
What It Is (taken from http://www.forksoverknives.com/the-fok-diet/):
A whole-food, plant-based diet is centered on whole, unrefined, or minimally refined plants. It’s a diet based on fruits, vegetables, tubers, whole grains, and legumes; and it excludes or minimizes meat (including chicken and fish), dairy products, and eggs, as well as highly refined foods like bleached flour, refined sugar, and oil.
This diet is recommended by many nutritionists, doctors and health scientists to help prevent and reduce diseases related to diet and obesity including heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and certain types of cancers.
Anyone and everyone looking to improve their overall health through diet is welcome to join us.

Does it come with a Netflix discount? I love me some Netflix.0

Looks very healthy! It's quite similar to The "Eat to Live" approach.
Starting a new group can be challenging. If you find you don't get a lot of "takers" join the "Eating to Live" group.0 -
No affiliations with Netflix but at least I get a free bump for that

It is pretty much the Live to Eat diet plan. I tried searching for groups that support plant-based whole foods diet but there is really no good search engine for groups on this site that I could find.
@Sabine_Stroehm What is the link?0 -
Yay, just joined! There can never be too many plant-based whole foods groups!0
