I want to lose weight. But I don't have a lot of healthy choices due to money issues. Any advice?

Start an exercise program....walking is free if you already own shoes---there are bodyweight exercise ideas on YouTube

log all your food and see what's already going on

    drink a lot of water

    never never never give up

How teen are you? If under 18, you are probably better off at sparkteens, site is geared for teens as well as the forums there.
  • You have to have a mindset of, how much is your health worth to you. How long do you really want to live? How healthy do you really want to be? Because what I use mainly is a meal replacement shake and I have lost 15 lbs so far. And the bag itself is only around $45

I'm sure you mean well, but $45 will go a heck of a lot further if it's spent on fruit, veg and meat, etc., instead of a meal replacement...

$45 I can spend on meat, veggies, pasta, milk, and fruit at Aldis. If I simply have a shake, I feel too deprived. I have teeth and want to use them.
