Miss a meal

Do you make up those calories at the next meal? Or just keep it as a deficit?

    I usually use it as an excuse to beef up the next one, but if I've already pre-planned the next one and I'm a bit under for the day, so be it.

    I make it up. I missed lunch today due to prepping for yet another winter storm, but had some snacks to tide me over. Making up for it this evening, because I want to net my calorie goal for the day. If the number isn't too significant below my goal, I'll leave it.

    Make it up...with ice cream. And much glee. :)

    Lactose intolerant....so no ice cream....

    And 1100 calories to go for the day.

    Yeah, you should find a way to fit those calories in. 1,100 calorie deficit + the deficit already built in to your calorie goal is too much.
