Beginner doing Stronglifts - Doubts

Hi Everyone,
Im 190lbs about 50lbs to lose. I started with the Stronglifts program. I have been only into cardio before. I used to do strength training using dumbells once in a while but not regular at it. Now when browsing through the Stronglifts program, I understood that as a beginner, I need to start with the 43lbs about 20kg of barbell first and then gradually work my way up. I realized that for some of the exercises like bench press, squat, I could not perform them with the 20kg barbell So I decided to work with body bars first, I started off with the 20lb bar, completed my set. From what I understand, you don't have to wait for a week on that weight and we can increase the weight by 5lbs in the very next time you do that same set of exercises (Am I right?) So when I log in the Stronglifts app, do I enter the weight as 20lbs about 9kg? Is that weight on the right hand corner of the app, the total weight that's the weight of barbell + weight of discs or just the discs?
Also, from what I understand, no specific diet is to be followed, I weigh 190lbs but aiming to eat 120g of protein itself seems like a task. I hope 120g should be ok. Any thoughts?
I am curious to know if any fat people did lifting and lost weight? From most pics, looks like people lost a significant amount of weight before starting lifting.
My arms are huge, the part I am most conscious about, I noticed long ago when I was working out on dumbells, they kinda changed the shape which wasn't flattering either. Do you think this Stronglifts regime would change my arms for the worst, I really want to lose my arm fat. I know I cant spot reduce but read somewhere that building muscle in arms burns fat in the arms.
Sorry for the long post!!
Thanks in advance!

First, let me tell you that there isn’t a single path to what you want. You’ll have to find your own path. It might be losing the weight first, or it might be getting fit first, or a combination of both.
What are you after? Fat loss is about how and what you eat. Fit is about what you do.

Yes, the weight increases each time.
You log the total weight, bar and weights total. So if you have a 45 lb bar and a 10lb weight on each side you log 65 lbs.I am curious to know if any fat people did lifting and lost weight? From most pics, looks like people lost a significant amount of weight before starting lifting.

No, I absolutely positively do not believe that stronglifts will change your arms for the worst.
ETA - also, for women, I can't remember off the top of my head but I am not sure if 5lbs is recommended to increase for every exercise. The Stronglifts FAQ has tons of helpful info.

I don't have the link on my phone, but search for Halp! Heavy lifting..... Find the thread of all the women who started lifting with their before and after photos. Also, go to nerd fitness and look up Staci, you're new lifting superhero.0

If you are using the Stronglifts app, in Setup, it allows you modify your setup by entering the weight of the bar you are using, Setup -> Bar Weight, which gets included in the total lift weight, and how much weight you add each successful lift Setup -> Auto Add weight. 5lbs for many can add up too quickly, especially on OH press. If you plan on sticking with it a fractional weight set (1/4, 1/2, 3/4, 1 lb) is well worth it and allows you to increase in smaller, more manageable increments than the standard 5lb (2x 2.5 lbs)0
