The last 20lbs are a struggle

I've been trying to lose these last 20-25 lbs (depending on how badly I sabotage) for a year.
I have a few problems mainly being that I always do something to kill all the good results I've had and get stuck in a rut of disappointment.
While I have a very supportive partner and friends, no one in my life is struggling with weight loss or have the same concerns about health as I do.
I really need some friends with the same interests at this point. It's not that I don't know what to do or how to do it but holding myself accountable doesn't work anymore because my excuses are strong.. Help Me!

Firstly, well done on getting to that last 20lb..That is fantastic dedication in it's self!

It's all about telling yourself how much you really want it, really striving for those results and remembering that this is a lifelong healthy lifestyle change. We all have trips and falls from time to time when we 'slip up', it's all about being human! Those last 20lb will drop off as long as you stick with it and keep up the awesome healthy lifestyle!

    You got this!!!

Yes they are! I even got within two or three pounds of where I wanted to be last year, then gained it all back in what seemed like a blink. Now I'm back to struggling with it again. Add me if you want, I'm doing low carb and lots of exercise to get rid of it this time.

Thanks Adam2K10 and Jolinia. Carbs are my weakness lol. I'm interested to see your choices :)

My family is the same way. They are supportive but then they push sweets and junk in my face and when I tell them I cannot eat that they get hurt. I'm being strong, some days that involves locking myself in my bedroom when my mother-in-law bakes. (Currently living with her, and it's very hard on me.) I only have 18 pounds to go, add me as a friend! :)

Did I mention that my fiance can eat whatever he wants as much as he wants and he doesn't gain a pound. I hate that! But he does try and be considerate around me. He'll eat his treats in another room.

I opened my diary to friends. Just ignore the wine soaked, carb fueled weekend, I spent it with my sister hiking and having a great time. But I paid for it all last week on the scale!

I know how you feel Shanairah1991, my fiance eats more in one day then I'm supposed to eat in two! He gains weight but loses it just as quickly!

Jolinia, if you ignore the entire week I over-ate I'll ignore yours haha

Deal! Also, about that one Wednesday involving trailmix. Well, sadly it's banished again for awhile. One day I will learn to control the desire to sit down and eat pounds of the stuff!
