injury

Hi everyone, been using myfitnesspal for about a month and find it to be very helpful. As of yesterday I have a thigh injury and cannot walk for distance for awhile. Can anyone give me some suggestions on other exercises I can do while my leg heals. Thanks...

    This may sound silly or lame but youtube actually has a ton of video clips, varying between 10-30 min in length, with chair exercises. I was unable to bear weight on my foot after surgery awhile back and felt like I was at least doing something by taking advantage of these. I just combined several at a time for a decent workout. Good luck and hope you recover quickly!

    I was going to suggest googling "chair exercises" too! With being unable to walk distances or (obviously) run or anything "traditional" these are really a great way to go.
