The main thing is to be aware of your calorie goals. Your macronutrient intake is important as well, but ultimately it will be a calorie surplus/deficit that allows you to gain or lose weight. Try to stick to places that have nutrition info posted on a website so that you can start getting an idea of what you can and cannot fit into your day.0

Watch the portions and sodium intake, stay hydrated, and make sure you stop and stretch now and then if you're in a vehicle lots. If you're in one place for a couple of days google the nearest pool or fitness center for a short workout before your next excursion. Do a short Sworkit or MFP workout in your room before bed and when you get up. In the end, though, it's definitely the calories intake so if you're trying out local foods and wine and such keep track of it all.0
