Logging food eaten after midnight

So I have a job that sometimes am required to work the occasional graveyard shift. Just wondering what is the best way to log the food eaten during the night. When I know I'll be working a graveyard shift, I do wake up later during the day around 11AM and take a nap in the late afternoon. I eat my last meal before going to work around 7-8PM. I would probably eat my "lunch" at work around 3AM. Would it be better to cut off be right at midnight and log any food eaten in the current day or put it in the previous days entry...(hope that made sense).
I am asking because I worked graveyard on Thursday and only ate about 900 cal but if I factor in the food I ate at work it would bump it up to 1200 cal eaten. I'm 5'1, 115 lbs and try to eat around 1400 cal a day.

Decide what time your day begins and ends. Determine which of those meals is breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks. Since you are totalling the day's food, then i dont see if it makes much difference between recording food eaten as a meal or a snack, if you dont know which, just pick one.0

I just go for the old "it's not tomorrow until I sleep, no mater what time it is". For example now it's almost 4am here and if I was to eat anything, I would log it in yesterday's log (it's already Monday but I would still log it on Sunday because I haven't slept yet).
If that won't work for you, rename your meals... I tried once naming them by times (ex. 11am-4pm) but it didn't work for me. Maybe give that a try?0 -
Pick one way and stay consistent.
I do 12-12 regardless of shift.
Either way it should even out as you will have one day you are low on and one day you are higher on.0 -

I guess the way i look at it is breakfast is breaking the fast like while sleeping. So i would count everything you ate at work to be for that same day whether or not its after midnight.. thats just me though so idk... maybe try it out that way?0

Do what makes sense to you.
Graveyard is not every night right?
Factoring in the food you eat at work makes sense.
