Actual nutrient facts on labels

Not sure if this is where this goes. If I go to my local grocery store and I pick up an apple and eat it but I can't find in MFP is it ok to use something close? I mean how much difference can there be? Same goes for other foods. I'm trying to be as accurate as possible but I have been "substituting" foods if I can't find it and I think that, that maybe hindering my weight lost in the past 2 weeks.

The entries in MFP that don't have a * next to them are USDA entries and are the most accurate. So if you have a food that doesn't have a nutrition label, try and use one of those. If it does have a label, but isn't in the database, you can add it yourself to ensure accuracy :)
