How long should it take to lose 2 stone?

Hi. So this weekend I've made a bet with two family members to see who can lose 2 stone the quickest. I want to do it sensibly so it stays off. Just wondering how quickly it could be done & if anybody has any experience. I've done weight watchers before & it was successful but slow. Wish me luck! Thanks

you can safely loose 1-2 pounds a week, depending on how you set your caloric deficit.

slow is good, loosing weight fast isn't very safe and means that you'll be depriving yourself of too many calories. this causes food binges and you will most likely put the weight back on if not more. so my advice is to take it slow and steady, that way you can keep the weight off.

Very good advice thank you. We all like our food so probably won't be quick for any of us! We just all want to achieve the same goal. Slow & steady wins the race I suppose.

A pound a week is reasonable so 28lbs, 28 weeks.
