Just get out there! Depending on where you live, just get up and go for a walk to get started and try to stay consistent doing it between 3 - 5 days a week. Then while you're doing that start looking at other activities like a gym membership, at-home workouts, other outdoor activities. Start "dating" around when it comes to workouts - you'll not only discover activities you enjoy but you'll be getting fit in the meantime!
Feel free to friend me and maybe I can help you narrow the workout activities to try down to your tastes and lifestyle!0 -
You can start with walking. Otherwise, I’d recommend finding a good trainer to help you design a program for your goals and learn proper form for the exercises.0

Go for a walk. Got a bicycle? Ride it.0

thanks for the ideas. I went out last night for a walk with my son for 30 minutes, as well as exercising it was nice to catch up with what he's been upto, he also made me walk faster than i would have on my own! We'll be back out again tonight0

You can look up Leslie Sansone's home walking videos on YouTube. They're pretty basic but will make you break out a sweat and help build cardiovascular strength.0

Keep in mind that your calorie deficit is much more important than exercise for weight loss. That said, exercise is awesome because you'll also want to become more fit. The best exercise is one you love so you'll keep doing it. Walking with your son sounds perfect.0

These are perfect for beginners on the days you cant or dont want to get outside! I had my mom (55) try it and she loved them! Theyre fun, for beginners, and semi-easy but it gets your hr up. Really, just start anything you enjoy. After you feel a little more fit and have some confidence in working out, youll probably want to try other things too
