First race of the year...

...was yesterday. Five mile (8km) road race, which I finished in a PB of 39 minutes exactly, at an average of 7:45/m (4:49/km). More than happy with that, and glad to get the first one out of the way. I've got a bit of a big year planned, several road races and half marathons planned, raising money for a local children's hospice, while all the while keeping fit and skinny and burning enough calories to eat cake and drink beer indiscriminately.
Give me t-shirts and medals, they're MINE!
