Hello. After having my second baby 7 months ago I'm back on the weight loss wagon. I've been working out and eating right for two weeks now and I'm only down 1 lb. It's kind of discouraging. I started running and I'm on week two of couch to 5k and I've been diligent about counting every calorie. I have a fitbit and have been eating most of the calories I've been burning. I'm 5'2, 226 lbs so I have a lot to lose. Should I not be eating the calories I'm burning? Should I be drinking protein shakes? I don't know what the best way is to get this weight off. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

If you open up your diary to be viewable, that could be helpful re: advice, if you're comfortable with it.

Do you feel like you lost inches, the same thing happen to me ..but on the 3rd week I lost 6 pounds and during that week I ate bad, they say not to pay attention to the scale to much, that could be a downfall. Pay attention to the way your clothes fit and how you are feeling, so keep going and don't lose focus.

If you do not eat back the calories you burned you will lose faster!

Some things I read say to eat back the calories and other things I read say not to. It's so confusing. I will not eat them this week and see what happens. Thanks for the replies.
