Hello everyone,

I'm not sure what the "protocol" here is, but I finally decided to do something about my weight. I was constantly lying about my weight on forms (Driver's license, insurance, etc.), and I was always trying to deceive myself that I was working on the problem.

However, my wife decided to lose weight and showed me the app that she was using (My NetDiary). I tried it, but never liked it...by MFP is much easier for me to use! I love it, and it has made calorie counting achieveable.

I'm down 15 pounds since starting 4 weeks ago, 60 more to go until my first major goal (getting my BMI into the "normal" range). After that, I'm going to level out and try to get back into shape (my 2 under age 3 kids are running me ragged!), then try to ease down to 165 by working on body fat.
