My up band died and have to wait a week to replace it. I use it to track my evening walks and calories actively burned. How will I know now how many calories I'm burning without it?

Download a free app like Runkeeper or some other activity tracker, and use it on your walks. Might not be as accurate an estimate as the Up, but it will do for a week.

Edited to add - if you don't have a smartphone for the app, you can sign up with Runkeeper on their website, and manually enter your start time and plot out the route on a map, and it will give you distance and estimated calories burned that way.
