I want to start making smoothies for me and my kids. I doubt I will be putting seeds or nuts in them. Will the 600 watt one do the trick for frozen fruit, kale, ice, etc? Is the 900 watt that much better?

The 900 can handle seeds, nuts, ice -- for it is so that you have some versatility.

the higher powered nutribullet is a great investment. our original one died in about a year.

I have the 900 and love it. I put in kale with the stalk, throw in a garcinia gambogia pill, B12 vitamin and lots of stuff including a piece of fresh ginger and in less than a minute it is all liquid! Maybe the 600 could do the same, I just went for the most powerful one.
