Hey Ricki,
First off, awesome work and keep it up. Secondly, there is no set rules, and there are different strokes for different folks. But I would say that the general rule of thumb is about 1-2 lbs a week or up to 1% of total weight a week (1 year would be = 52 - 100 lbs). While you've been losing about 8.5 lbs a week, the initial stages of the journey tend to be where the rapid weight lost occurs. So it should naturally slow down, but I would try to control the pace by adding more calories into your intake and aim to reach your weekly target weight. This pace is a natural good pace that will help mentally and emotionally with the journey, makes it a lot easier to maintain, and help your body adjust with the stress occurring.0 -
