Need help creating workout routine

I am looking for some advice/help with a workout routine. I need something easy that I can do from home. I am 5 foot 7 and weigh 136 lbs. My goal weight is 125 and i'm hoping to lose fat around my thighs and stomach, while toning my arms and then eventually toning my legs once they've lost the extra fat.
I need to start from the very beginning, as I am completely new to exercising. If anyone could give me some tips/routines that I could do to help me reach my goals I would greatly appreciate it!!
Thx!

30 Day Shred or any of the Jillian Michaels workouts are a good starting point.
For strength training, the You Are Your Own Gym program looks to be promising. You just need things around the house like a towel, chair, desk, etc. They have a smart phone app that sets you up with a 10 week program and the app is only $3.
Running is a good cardio that can be done anywhere. They also have Zumba videos if you are into dancing.0 -
Jillian Michaels 30 day shred is good for beginners. I've seen some amazing results on here from it. It has cardio and strength training and the workouts are only about 28 minutes long. I got mine at Target for $8.00.
Couch 25k is a good program too, you can download the app on your phone for free.
I also like the Daily burn videos on hulu. There's also an app for that and they have tons of workouts and you can pick your intensity level and if you want something really tough, yoga, a short workout, whatever. They have it all on there.
I'd go with 30 day shred0 -
Since you are only looking to lose a small amount of weight, you may want to check out Self magazine's website. They have what is called the drop 10 plan. Lots of recipes and exercises there. The magazine itself is also a great source of this info. Hope that helps0

If you have the $, I would definitely recommend Jillian Michaels Body Revolution. I had no clue what I was doing in the beginning and this works you through everything. It starts out easier for those who aren't the strongest ( I couldn't do push ups and now I can do about 50 without stopping) and progresses every two weeks. Its an amazing program! Take a look at my before and after pics on my page. I have even repeated the program more them once just upping my weights and doing the more advanced moves, its worth the money since you can use it over and over again!0

there are TONS of full workouts vids and clips from some other workout vids all over on YouTube. If nothing else, you can check out the different trainers that have workout videos out and see who you like the best before you start buying them willy-nilly. There is probably plenty there to get you going at the very least.0
