Taco night confusion

I am at maintenance now after losing 48lbs. However, this is the first time since I started I made tacos.

The nutrition label says when prepared with lean ground beef the calories are 310, for just the shell and seasoning 150, and a serving size is 2--- if I used 97% lean ground beef, would I go by the count with the prepared with ground beef?

I'm confused. Anyone know?

At the bottom of the box it says to use at least 93% lean ground beef.

I'm confused by what nutritional label you're looking at, but when I'm making something with a mix I use the recipe builder and put in the ground beef I actually used, the mix itself (rather than the prepared counts), and whatever else I added and get my calories from there.

The label on the box. When it scans it gave me two options for the calories, one when prepared with lean beef and one without.

I went ahead and just did the recipe builder. it equaled out to being pretty close to what was was on the box before toppings. :)

I just did tacos but instead of using shells I used peppers (do it was like a taco stuffed pepper) and I uses turkey instead of beef. It was only 145 calories fir one half of the pepper and it was totally enough food

i dont use prepackaged taco mixes so i dont know what that says, but i use the recipe builder and log all the ingredients individually (shell, amount of meat, lettuce, tomato, cheese, sour cream, etc). The seasonings i use dont have any calories so i dont worry about them.

ive also done the taco stuffed bell peppers like the poster above me mentioned, and they are quite tasty too!!! just make sure to cook the peppers before hand ;)
