Just want to share: I have managed to maintain a healthy BMI for six months, down 27 lbs from my starting weight. I'm so happy I started using mfp!

When you switched to maintenance, did you up your calories slowly or all at once? I am two pounds away from maintenance and I am nervous!

I was nervous, too. I upped my calories slowly, over a few weeks.

Congrats! I've always been able to lose weight fairly easily when I put my mind to it, but maintenance has always been a challenge. This is my first time trying to lose with MFP, and I'm nervous but hopeful that it will help me maintain once I meet my goal. Nice to see that others are having success!

I upped my calories all at once, once I hit my goal weight. I fluctuate a couple of pounds from my goal weight in a month due to water weight. I use mfp to estimate calories for the day, and use the recipe builder a lot. I eat a little more some days, and a little less others. Always more than the 1200 I ate to lose.
