Is natural unrefined coconut sugar ok on a Clean Eating diet

I eat what I would say is mostly a clean eating diet or lots of veg/fruit and meats. I would imagine that the regimented clean eaters would approve of that sugar for sure. I still use the old school granulated sugar in my coffee. It's all in moderation, ya know? Good luck!0

Any kind of sugar has the same effect in your body (causing production of insulin) i think as long as it's a small amount once in a while because it will slow down your weight loss. Most clean eaters prefer maple or raw honey.0

Why? Clean eating doesn't make you lose weight. A calorie deficit does.0
