Not really good at maintaining updates on these site...lets give this a try.
Just turned 39 and at 308 lbs. realized that I was ready and committed to change and finally loose this weight I Have carried around for way to long. Luckily I have a healthy and strong body and a very determined personality, so was able to dive in and get started. I don't remember when I have ever been this committed to anything...this will happen.
In the first 2 weeks I have lost 10 pounds - kind of expected more given the degree of change in diet and exercise (13 solid workouts in 14 days) - but assuming that some of it is additional muscle build.
Nutirion: this is where I am going to need the most help. The last two weeks have been really good - eating much healthier and less than normal. I need to make sure eating enough given levels of activity. There are so many opinions about what to eat and what not. I have such a hectic work life that while I am watching everything that is consumed, not sure its in the right proportions.
Exercise: I hired a personal trainer, a huge bodybuilder type of guy. He is quite aggressive and pushes hard and is reintroducing me to the free weights and weight machines.
If anyone has any suggestions, feel free to comment.
