The Struggle is Real

I have struggled with my weight for a long time, well really I kind of ignored it. I lost my mom 6 years ago to cancer and since then it has really been a struggle to get myself motivated and stay motivated! December 29(5 days after the 6 year anniversary and my dad being diagnosed with Parkinson's) I decided it was time to change to make myself healthier, not only so I feel better and more confident with myself, but also because I want to live a longer life with my husband and I feel like the odds are already stacked against me so I have to help myself anyway I can. Since weighing in on the 29 I have lost 14 lbs, which I am very happy with, but I want to make sure I can keep this motivation up and reach my goal. I love to see other people that are succeeding, it is a huge motivator for me and communicating with people about the same weight loss struggles helps to get past them; so I am looking for friends who are making a change for the better too!

You can do it! One thing I have found is that he less I focus on being motivated, the better I am at making this journey a lifestyle change and not just a weight loss thing. That's what's working for me anyway. Stay Encouraged! Feel free to add me!0
