knee issue

Has anyone of you suffered from runners knee? If yes then what treatment did you take

I am taking physiotherapy past 2 weeks ....
is it advisable?

    I have never had runners knee... but I have had three knee surgeries... not sure if what I did would help you. To strengthen it, I did bike.. and a lot of quad exercises... This might have been a useless comment, but hope it helps a little.

    My sports physiotherapist has been a godsend. He's prepared a list of stretching and strengthening exercises to do before and after a run. His number one bit of advice is not to run through joint/ligament pain. When this happens, slow it down and take it back. The difference between running through compared to dialing it back is months of recovery time.

    My physiotherapist ran through an achilles injury during a race and it took four years to recover, including surgery. He still can't run as well as he could before the injury.
