I skip the butter and make frothy coffee with coconut oil and maybe a dash of vanilla extract. Yum!

It's a good way to get fats and protein in first thing in the morning so you don't get hungry all day. It's not a magic cure for anything. Buying the "official" bpc stuff from the guy's website is a ripoff, and you can use all the same things at home for a lot less money.

I skip the butter, too, mine's hwc, coco oil, hazelnut tourani and a little bit of stevia. Genearlly, I don't call it bpc, it's just coffee, but a lot of other people do because it has *gasp* cream in it.

It's a fad. Grind your beans the same day and brew, no butter or anything needed

I use grass fed butter, like kerrygold. It's so good!

I like coffee black, but if I were to add something it would be milk or cream. Nothing has yet to make me think oil and butter would be preferable, and I quite like both coconut oil and butter on other foods.

It makes sense for people who are lc or keto. It doesn't make a lot of sense for people who eat high carbs and don't have room for all the extra calories from it. But, for some reason, it's getting popular with the hc set. I imagine they're all going to end up gaining weight from it if they're taking it as a typical magazine diet tip.

Actually my sister is vegan and she loves coconut oil coffee first thing in the morning with almond milk. She says it gives her tons of energy.

I use a 1/2 tsp instead of the 2 tbsps of either coconut oil or ghee. I love it!

I tried it but I didn't actually like the super buttery/oily taste to the coffee
