Food Database not working

For the last 3 hours any time I put something in the food database to find it I get nothing. I tried things that had to be in there many times like "apple" and brand names like "Safeway" and still nothing.
I can still add food that I have used recently from my lists but I can't search for and add anything new.
What's up with this and when will it be fixed?

Obviously system issues. I'd just use pen and paper and log it later.0
