I am a repeat offender. A yoyo dieter. Last year I spent 6 months eating better and working out. I lost 21 pounds. Then Thanksgiving came, then my 21 birthday and then Christmas and New Years. I want to get started again, but I need quick healthy snack and meals any ideas? I'm also on a budget.

From one previous yo yo dieter to another. Do something different

Look at foods differently. Look at events differently. Don't take cheat days, make things fit. Make it fun. Find nutrient dense whole foods you enjoy to help you meet your nutrient requirements and then put some fun stuff in there. I lost 40 lbs using this app back in 2012, then I fell pregnant and relapsed into old habits. I thought to lose weight I had to kill myself with cardio and eat rabbit food. It was miserable. Then, when I gained 50 lbs after my second kid in 2013, my life changed. I discovered that thread and about moderation. I made fast food, cookies, ice cream fit into my goal while still eating well. I found a balance. And I still have a day here or there I go over hilariously in calories but I log it. Stay accountable, always.

Find an exercise you truly enjoy, don't burn yourself out. Make sure you take rest days.

I've been maintaining for over a year now and it's because I stay mindful but I don't deprive.
