But there has to be a healthier choice between the three. I understand that yes they are all healthy just in moderation.
Like say if i wanted to make a "Meat" Loaf but wanted to substitute the beef for something a bit healthier... or do chicken and turkey general possess the same calories and carbs and such?0 -
Percentage of fat.

A very low fat lean ground beef will be better than the turkey.0 -
"healthier" in what way...I agree with Serah...I would consider all three of those healthy. Personally, if I'm having a burger, I want a burger (as in ground beef).
I generally use 93% lean ground beef...keep in mind that 93% lean is 93% lean is 93% lean regardless of whether you're talking about chicken, turkey, or beef.
Like I said, I would view all of those as "healthy" in the proper context.0 -

What are your goals? Which factors do you care about most (calories, protein, fat, iron, etc)? Once you know what you need/want from the ingredient then you can compare their nutritional information to decide which is best for you.

Thank you everyone... this is all actually very helpful. I guess I was already eating healthier without realizing it because I already buy the 93% lean ground beef. And I never really considered my goals in that way, since the app already does a calorie count and I believe a carb count I figured that would be what I would need to reach for my goal.0
