New to the gym need some tips

my name is Jake and I'm 17 years old, weight 115lbs and I am about 5ft 2in. First off I'm super skinny, I eat all the time and will gain weight but only in my Lower belly area. I am also on track and soccer at my school so I do lots of running. But I am not a very strong person nor does my little body look good. Summer is getting near so my schedule is soon going to be very free of time and i am wanting to sign up for my local gym but before I do I wanted some tips or pointers. I will post a picture of the look I would like to achieve and what I'm conserned I will end up with.
Now don't get me wrong I know the type of look I wantwill take a while and won't come easy but I have read on line and it's still kinda confusing me about how I am supposed to achieve this look. But before I get my goals set I just wanted to know about how would be the best way to achieve the look of the image below . Also i found this routine on line and would like to know if this would work I put the link below, also I put a picture of what I want to look like and what Im worried I'll end up with. I am wanting the more full buff look of the guy with the purple pants but kinda worried I'll end up with the not so good looks of the other picture. Please be serious As I am or I would not have made this post!

You need to be an adult to be on this site. Try Sparkteens.

    1. I don't see a problem with either of these people.
    2. Have you heard of Photoshop?
    3. It will take you longer than a couple of months to go from nothing to either of these people. If the top person is real, it would have taken him a long time and dedication, nutrition and high protein to achieve it and maintain it.
    4. I didn't realise men were affected by photos in the media this much. Interesting...

to point four..OP is a 17 year old teenager and not a man …so I am sure that plays a part in how he views his "ideal" self. …

although, I am sure that older men are impacted by this stuff too ….
