How do you measure

Regarding basic daily cardio - Are you more apt to measure distance or time? For example, do you say "I'm going to do this for a half hour" or "I'm going to do this for ten miles"? Why?

Both are important. Pace (time per distance, such as 10 minutes per mile) or rate (distance per time, such as 6 miles per hour) are used to approximate the level of energy expended when you walk or run. The MFP Cardiovascular database displays running exercises by both pace and rate, but it displays walking exercises by rate only. For this reason, you should note both time and distance for your walking or running cardiovascular exercises.0
