Homemade Protein Bars
I like to cook and come up with new things all the time. I have a recipe for some awesome protein bars that are easy to make and taste like a nobake cookie! Here is the recipe:
Ingredients:
1 cup - Peanut Butter or Almond Butter (I use Jiff “All Natural” with the brown lid)
½ cup - Honey
½ cup - Oats (I just bought one of those big plain oat tubes)
½ cup - Granola (I used Natures Valley “Honey and Oat” Granola)
2scoops - Protein Powder (I use Combat Powder by MusclePharm’s Mint Chocolate)
Directions:
1.) Pour Honey and Peanut Butter into bowl and melt in microwave for about 45 seconds (or until warm and slightly melted).
2.) Pour Oats, Granola, and Protein Powder into the bowl and stir until well mixed.
3.) Place on a piece of wax paper or backing sheet and smooth out into a block (or however you want to do it) I keep mine between about ¼ to ½ inch thick.
4.) Place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to harden.
5.) Cut off a bar and enjoy the proteiny-goodness!

Sounds good! I have been wanting to make protein bars0

They are incredible and (probably depending on the protein you use) don't have that chalky taste that other protein bars have. Seriously taste very similar to no bake cookies.0
