I'd probably go with the pasta....I prefer salty foods to sweet most of the time.

Depends. If I need something to tide me over for a while? Pasta. If it's 10pm? chocolate. But at the same time my sweets tolerance is not as high as it used to be, so I actually get a bit nauseous eating too much now (not like that stopped me from eating 9 slices of brownie over 4 days lol). I find it ironic that my tolerance lowers only when I STOPPED putting limits on the intake and that this removal of barriers resulted in me eating smaller quantities by choice/preference.

It depends on how hungry you are, what your calorie situation is, and how long until your next meal. Personally if I'm going to use up calories/carbs it'll be the chocolate every time.

Is there no sauce on the pasta? If not, the chocolate unless it's a bad chocolate bar (I'm looking at you "World's Finest Chocolate"). Plain pasta is like the most boring food ever.

add some salt and maybe butter and it's not that bad! butter + salsa + chicken is good.

Are we worried about the sugar spike? I'd say the two would be about equal on that score.

I'd guess the pasta would be more filling.

I would be prepared to negotiate on the chocolate if there was cheese or tomato and onion involved.
Puttanesca for the win, because anchovies, black olives, garlic and tomato.

Always pasta. I'm a total carb-fiend. Favorite foods are mac & cheese and mashed potatoes.

I'd go for the chocolate. But then, I always choose chocolate. :)

I am the same way. My cheat meal for Valentine's was Parmesan pasta which is literally cheese, butter and pasta. I am pretty obsessed with mac and cheese. Just the thought of pasta is making me hungry. haha!

10 Out of 10 times chocolate bar. Although truth be told chocolate rates above pasta only 1 notch. With pasta being dead last.

    yum.

pasta every time, eating sweets when I'm actually hungry makes me feel ill and headachey.

Id have to say the pasta...because then I would be satisfied enough to not eat the chocolate...at least not right away, and I might forget about it. If I ate the chocolate instead...Id turn right around and eat the pasta too.

    I love both.

For my body, chocolate would be better. I am thinking of good, dark chocolate that is 85%+ cacao.

Depends on the wine. I think I would go with extra dark chocolate, and a fruity, Italian wine.
