After two kids, one of which is currently 4 months old, I've gained quite a few pounds. I've been exercising and dieting for 6 weeks now, and I've lost 8 pounds so far. 42 more. I have several goals, the ultimate goal being: by the time I'm 30 (I have 2.5 years...), I want to be in good enough shape to join a horse packing expedition in Patagonia. When I was a teen, I used to do month long backpacking and horse packing trips in the U.S. I used to be fit and could carry a 90 pound pack on my back up and down mountains as a 16 year old better than anyone I knew my age. Flash forward over a decade... Not so much. I can barely pick up my 5 year old daughter without straining. I joined Jillian Michaels... She's been great thus far. But I need some extra encouragement. And frankly, a better tracker (her app just doesn't live up to this one).

I can get there... Right?
