Just saw this ad from American Farmers Network. Do the Math. This works out to $74.58 per pound for frozen beef. That's ridiculous. Does somebody really pay this?

Steak Paradise Includes:

(2) 7 oz. Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignons

(2) 8 oz. Ribeye Steaks

(2) 14 oz. T-Bone Steaks

(2) 8 oz. New York Strip Steaks

Price: $344.94

Im probably going to be in trouble with my wife for just looking at a post with prices so high. LOL No we would not be paying that. I did go to a Mortons once, she is still complaining. HAHA

at those prices it would be more economical (and worth it) to shoot one off the side of the road and have it slaughtered myself...

To be fair, I'm pretty sure there are cheaper ways to buy grass fed beef. Still too expensive though.

I went on line after I saw that and checked Morton's Steakhouse. Steak AND Lobster is $55.00. I think THAT is too much. I have Steaks that I bought at Safeway (Porterhouse). Less than 15 / lb. Rubbed them last night. Will BBQ them tonight. Feed 4 and have leftovers for under $50.
