Squats for beginners

I think I am going to attempt this - I have been watching some of the challenges on here but have never done them because I just don't feel like I would be able to succeed. What do ya'll think about this one?

    Well, I guess it depends on your goals. Air squats are better than no squats. Anything with "challenge" in the name, I would consider cardio instead of strength because they typically increase in reps and not weight.

    OK I never considered that - I have been using the treadmill and increasing the speed plus I am also doing a stand up ab routine but I felt that I wanted to add one more thing to pick up the heart rate.
