I just got mine yesterday and I am awful with electronics. Do I need to log in my workouts in MFP or will they transfer over the Bluetooth? Do I just hit the button to on the side to track it? Any help would be great. <3

They transfer over Bluetooth, but you do need to add the Fitbit device into mfp first...it's quite easy to do even if you are not too technically minded. Also, just allow the Fitbit to log exercise, don't manually enter it into mfp or it will be duplicated.

HOWEVER, be aware that the Fitbit device will log quite a lot of exercise calories that you could eat back. I am convinced there is no way I have worked off the level of calories it is saying, so I tend to ignore that to a large degree. Just my limited experience with it.

thank you so much! I try to only eat back about 1/2 or less of my work out calories so I will keep that in mind. I think I have already added the fitbit to mfp because there is something there when I go into exercise that was not there before.

Sounds good. You will see your available calories change during the day as you exercise more...

Yeah, seeing that my morning walk to the coffee pot has given me 10 calories to eat back always makes me smirk. Another tablespoon of coffee for me!

HA HA HA...that's great. I just want to compare it to what I was tracking thru MFP before...and I would do many things for a cup of coffee about now!
